Our Focus

Acro...we can't get enough of it!
Acro

a style of dance that combines classical dance technique with precision acrobatic elements. It is defined by its athletic character, its unique choreography, which seamlessly blends dance and acrobatics, and its use of acrobatics in a dance context. It is a popular dance style in amateur competitive dance as well as in professional dance theater and in contemporary circus productions such as those by Cirque du Soleil.

Aerial Acro

encompass all disciplines requiring the rigging of an apparatus at a height, e.g., a bar, rope, trapeze, silk, etc. With the exception of tightrope performers, aerial acrobats use the force of their arms and hands to lift or move their own body or that of their partners. Aerial hoops, rings, chains or straps are among the aerial acrobatic apparatus used.

Main à main

...or Hand to Hand. This art requires two or more acrobats to execute various partnering elements.

Tumbling

...is a form of gymnastics which traditionally is performed on a straight tumble track. Elements from tumbling (back handsprings, tucks, etc) are often used in acrobatic and other types of dance routines.
